We have been evaluating and researching Dashboard products for some time and recently started to work with iDashboards.  Here are 5 of the things that we like about iDashboards:-

  1. iDashboards requires no programming to build, to administer and to customise dashboards and alerts.
  2. iDashboards can pull data directly from all relational databases, legacy data, Exel, Crystal and XML.
  3. iDashboards can tie directly into other corporate applications such as ERP, SCM, CRM and so on; supports single sign on and any JSR168 compliant portal environment.
  4. iDashboards sends users email notifications and dashboard alerts through easily configurable real-time alerts monitor metrics for threshold values.
  5. iDashboards has a lower total cost of ownership than other similarly placed products – short implementation time and ease of use lead to an accelerated return on investment.

It is a well-established management principle that you cannot manage what you cannot measure. It is equally true, however, that you cannot manage well what you cannot monitor. That is where enterprise dashboards come in.

STOP PRESS:- Chase International are no longer acting as a Business Objects Authorised Education Partner.  We no longer feel that the public scheduled courses using Business Objects courseware serves the training requirements of users of Crystal Reports and Enterprise.  Our new tailored courses and workshops are led by experienced Crystal trainers and, in future, delegates will receive relevant handouts and for Crystal Reports users a free copy of the excellent “The Complete Reference Guide to Crystal Reports XI” by George Peck.
